Jet Ski Policies

Jet Ski Rentals Information: 

ALL Passengers MUST be able to Swim!

 

Safety is our first priority at K & C Watersports Nassau. ALL guests will be provided a life vest which MUST be worn at all times while on watercraft. You will be briefed on some safety rules & instructions on how to operate the personal watercraft. All operators are certified & licensed by the Port Authority in the Bahamas.  

 

1. The legal age requirement in The Bahamas to operate at jet ski alone is 17 years old at the time of rental.

 

2. Regular Jet Ski rentals without a tour guide are required to stay within the Cable Beach area which you will be instructed by your operator the limitations of the riding area for safety reasons. Anyone wishing to go outside those areas are required to have a tour guide with them.

 

3. All our jet skis are Yamaha Double Seater Jet Skis, each has a weight limit of 350lbs for (2) passengers. If (2) passengers' weight combined exceed more than 350lbs, you will need to book separate jet skis.

Payment is required at time of reservation via our online reservation system. Payments are fully applied towards final balance No Show Customers will NOT receive a refund. Deposits will be 100% refunded (minus 3% processing fee) if the weather prohibits the activity.

 

We do NOT accept credit cards the day of reservation - Cash Only for final balance.

 

Please Note: There are NO changing, restroom or storage facilities on our beach location. There is, however, a Starbucks across the street from us. The jet skis have a small dry compartment for items during the rental. We recommend placing all electronics in a watertight case or bag. We are not responsible for any items damaged.

All transactions are charged in USD & is subject to 7% tax + 4% CC Fee.

REQUIRED:

• Once reservations is Booked, YOU MUST CALL the MORNING of Appointment to CONFIRM,

  • Weather/Beach conditions. This is due to quick changing Tropical Weather.

  • We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or change departure point due to this.

Cancellation Policy: (4% processing fee is non-refundable)

 

1. Weather Policy:

   • If you Arrive at the Confirmed Location and Our Operator determines it's not safe to ride.

   • If Our Representative communicates the DAY OF and CANCELS your reservation due to weather.

     • ​You will receive a refund (minus 4% processing fees) or the choice to reschedule if possible. Generally, takes 7-14 business days to process.
        

2. Cancellation Policy: (4% processing fee is non-refundable)

   • If you cancel more than (7) days prior to reservation, there is a $10 cancellation fee.

   • If you cancel less than (7) days but more than (3) days, there is a 50% cancellation fee.

   • If you cancel less than (3) days prior but more than (24) hours there is a 75% cancellation fee.

   • If you cancel less than (24) hour or are a NO-SHOW guest there is NO REFUND.
      

3. Airline/Cruise Ship Guests & Travel Insurance​

   • Cruise Ship Cancels Port of Call or Changes Itinerary:​

     • ​​We do NOT refund if your Cruise Ship does NOT Port or Your Flight is Cancelled. We HIGHLY recommend Travel Insurance for this reason.

       • Unfortunately, cruise ships can change or cancel itineraries/ports of call at any time for various reasons, including but not limited to weather, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.​

     • When purchasing travel insurance, we recommend purchasing from an outside company rather than through your cruise ship or airline (these policies generally only cover the cruise or flight itself).

       • Tip: include the price of any and all excursions you are booking in your Total Trip Cost & Make sure your type of excursion (ie adventure/sports) are covered under your plan, sometimes there is an additional option to add this.

       • Remember travel incurance generally covers full reimbursment of cancelled trips for medical reasons, work, death and similar. It will also cover up to $XXX of emergency medical costs, lost baggage, delays, etc. ​
